Morrison VIP Night

We were invited to attend the Morrison VIP Night, hosted by East End landlord and business, Maras Group...

Kylie Radford, head designer and co-owner of the Morrison Brand, attended the event all the from New South Wales.
Kylie and myself

It was such a pleasure to meet Kylie, she was so sweet and down-to-earth! She told us all the story of how the Morrison brand became what it is today. From such humble beginnings, they started with a little gift store in Fremantle, Kylie then went onto design a very popular pair of pants...and the rest was history! Kylie's love for one special man in her life, is what lead to the name Morrison.....her beautiful late doggy.....

The man behind the labels name.....Morrison

The racks were loaded with Morrison's Winter13 collection and guests were spoiled with generous discounts on the night...

Guests included some of Adelaide's fashion elite and media....

We were treated to a fashion showcase of the Winter Collection, directed by Kylie herself, it was great to see how most of the pieces can be worn in many different ways, and some don't even need ironing....yes that's right...no ironing! That means they  are great for travelling

Along with the beautiful fashion, we were also treated to some yummy nibbles and bubbly

We were also given a great little gift bag full of goodies from Jurlique, Dandelion Vinyards, Haighs and T Bar

Overall it was such a great night... thankyou to Morrison and Rundle Street East's Maras Group.

 Adelaide June Beauty Bloggers Meet

On the 22nd of June, we attended the June ABBM hosted by The Laser Longe at West Lakes

We were treated to some very informative presentations about skin care by cosmetic physician Dr Amit Kapur, skin specialist from DMK Kristen Schultz and co-founder of The Laser Lounge Bita Beyzaee. It was really interesting to hear about the technical and medical sides of scin care from such professionals.

Bita talking about the Hair Growth Cycle

We were shown a demonstration of The Laser Lounge's Corrective Enzyme Treatment, done on the lucky Celeste from (http://www.berrytravels.com/). The treatment took about 2 hours, DMK (Danne Montague-King) products were used, and Celestes skin looked so radiant after the treatment.

Celeste after the treatment
After the treatment, all the girls were amazed by the results and took some snaps to catch the moment...

DMK products use principles of biochemistry to treat skin conditions rather than skin types.
"DMK has formulated a range of treatments and products designed to educate skin to perform like youthful healthy skin. By matching formulations with the body’s chemistry, the skin is encouraged to respond in a positive manner. DMK’s revolutionary concept of REMOVE, REBUILD, PROTECT, MAINTAIN aims to match an individual’s biochemistry with the appropriate skin therapy. Botanical-based paramedical products make up the DMK skin care program." (dannemking.com)

This creme is whipped which gives it a soft fluffy texture

We were treated to complimentary laser hair removal on the underarms, and were shown the new technology behind laser hair removal.....

Along with all the beauty therapy and skin care information given to us on the day, we also enjoyed a wide array of yummy snacks...

Gift Boxes

Thankyou so much to The Laser Lounge for a great event, I look forward to visiting them for some more Laser Hair Removal and skin treatments!
